+ Members sign off on new building
Excitement was in the air as members of Christ Church of Longboat Key, Presbyterian got their first look at the interior of their new sanctuary at 6400 Gulf of Mexico Drive. Following Palm Sunday services at their present location on Bay Isles Road, members boarded buses for the four-mile trip to the new sanctuary.

Entering the church in small groups, all wore smiles and eagerly walked through each section. Members signed the wall at the front of the sanctuary to mark their visits. The main entrance to the church will lead into a welcome area with the sanctuary to the right and the fellowship hall to the left. Construction began in July, and a projected date for occupancy is August.
