Church welcomes back Tara's teachers

Sarasota Baptist Church's Lakewood Ranch campus recently paid a special tribute to teachers at Tara Elementary School.

The church hosted a special breakfast in its worship center on Aug. 16 to welcome educators back from their summer break.

Sarasota Baptist's congregation served breakfast to educators and gave them goodie bags. It also collected more than 40 back packs and back-to-school supplies for students at Tara.
