Old Navy opens East County store

Old Navy officially opens for business at University Town Center this weekend with a special sale benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota County.

Today through Aug. 28, Old Navy will donate 5% of total proceeds to the Boys & Girls Clubs. The donations will help pay for after-school scholarships for children and youth to participate in the organization’s activities.
To celebrate the stores’ grand opening, youth from the Boys & Girls Clubs will hold a fashion show from 6-8 p.m. tonight at the store, 117 North Cattlemen Road, Sarasota. On Additionally, from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, youth from the club will perform a step dance show.

Old Navy held its soft opening Aug. 17.
