Silver Stars host fundraiser

The Lakewood Ranch Silver Stars Dance Team are hoping to dance their way to Miami and need the East County’s support to get there.

From 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, the Silver Stars will host a rummage sale and flea market fundraiser at the Crowder Brothers ACE Hardware, 2401 Lakewood Ranch Blvd., Bradenton. Proceeds from the fundraiser will help pay for the Silver Stars to go to Miami to perform in this year’s Orange Bowl.
