An Emerald Harbor home sells for $627,500

Sandra Drell, of Vilas, Wis., sold her home at 5940 Emerald Harbor Drive to David Jones and Susan McVeigh-Jones, of Newtown Square, Pa., for $627,500. Built in 1980, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,788 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1,175,000 in 2006.

The following residential real-estate transactions were recorded Aug. 15 to Aug. 19, at the Sarasota and Manatee County courthouses. Of this week’s six sales, four took place on Longboat Key and two occurred on St. Armands.

Whitney Beach III
R. Anne Payne sold her Unit 336 condominium at 6701 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Susan Grantham and Christopher Joyce, trustees, of Norfolk, Mass., for $410,000. Built in 1971, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,377 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $270,500 in 1998.

Fairway Bay II
Stephen and Georgette Lorenzetti, Sarasota, sold their Unit 1902 condominium at 2008 Harbourside Drive to Richard and Patricia Bentley, of Pawling, N.Y., for $300,000. Built in 1985, it has two bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 1,598 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $172,000 in 1997.
Bayport Beach and Tennis Club

Raymond Sloan, of Glen Rock, N.J., sold his Unit 718 condominium at 718 Bayport Way to Suzanne Rosen, of St. Louis, for $250,000. Built in 1980, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,260 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $125,000 in 1989.

St. Armands Towers North
Christopher and Annette Kroha, of Winter Park, sold their Unit 26 condominium at 1 Benjamin Franklin Drive to Scott and Sheryl Langford, of Keller, Texas, for $380,000. Built in 1968, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,389 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $470,000 in 2007.

Kingston Arms
Christopher and Holly Hurley sold their Unit 4B condominium at Kingston Arms, 500 S. Washington Drive, to Consara GmbH for $325,000. Built in 1963, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,035 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $340,000 in 2007.
