Vizcaya condo sells for $2.25 million

Laurie Champion, Boston, sold her Unit 3B1 condominium at Vizcaya, 2399 Gulf of Mexico Drive, to Alan and Constance Herbert, of Barrington, Ill., for $2.25 million. Built in 1998, it has two bedrooms, three baths and 3,238 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.6 million in 1998.

This week’s residential real-estate transactions were recorded Nov. 21 to Nov. 25, which was a shortened recording week due to Thanksgiving.

Of this week’s four sales, the Vizcaya sale was the only to top $1 million.

Tiffany Plaza
Steven and Vicki Vann-Berstein sold their Unit 507 condominium at 4325 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Pranay and Tine Patel, Lakeland, for $493,000. Built in 1975, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,456 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $508,500 in 2001.

Seagrape Inn
Barbara Stein, trustee, Chicago, sold the Unit 2 condominium at 5125 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Frank and Dorothy Case, of Romulus, N.Y., for $175,000. Built in 1983, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 961 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $145,000 in 1988.

St. Armands Circle
David and Michele Wilson, of Windsor, Conn., sold their Unit 18A condominium at Kingston Arms, 500 S. Washington Drive, to Richard Johnston, trustee, Sarasota, for $222,500. Built in 1963, it has one bedroom, one bath and 770 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $192,500 in 2003.
