+ Roger Pettingell gives sweet thanks to his customers
Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate agent Roger Pettingell gave thanks to his customers by delivering more than 60 pies from Yoder’s Restaurant to his clients in honor of Thanksgiving. Additionally, Pettingell donated 30 pies in the names of his clients who were not in town.
“It’s a great way to start the holiday season,” Pettingell said.

+ SAR honors four members for contributions to community
The Sarasota Association of Realtors honored four of its members for their contributions to SAR and the Sarasota community. Honorees were Joe Hembree, founder and owner of Hembree and Associates, who was honored as Realtor of the Year; Lee Byron, of Michael Saunders & Co., who received the SAR Humanitarian of the Year Award; Dave Swenson, broker of EXIT Creative Realty, who earned the Meritorious Service Award; and Elaine Adair, of RE/MAX Alliance Group, who won the SAR President’s Award.

+ Island Real Estate acquires Betsy Hills Real Estate brokerage
Island Real Estate of Anna Maria Island Inc. purchased Betsy Hills Real Estate’s brokerage and office site. The former Betsy Hills Real Estate office at 419 Pine Ave., on Anna Maria Island, will now be the second Island Real Estate office, in addition to the location at 6101 Marina Drive, in Holmes Beach.

“Betsy Hills Real Estate has been a fixture on Anna Maria Island for more than 30 years,” said Island Real Estate Broker Larry Chatt in a prepared statement. “We are both excited and pleased to have acquired this outstanding company.”
