KREW wins soccer world championship

The KREW captured the Kick It 3v3 World Championship Jan. 14-17 at Disney’s Wide World of Sports.

The team defeated teams from New York, Pennsylvania and Illinois during pool play. The KREW then went on to defeat a team from Georgia in the semifinals before rain cancelled its championship game against Illinois.

The KREW was awarded the championship based on their undefeated record throughout the tournament. Players include John Rodman, JT Truitt, Danny Lane, Fabio Vasconcellos, Tristan Rehrig and Winston Porras-Lied.
