+ Charlotte Hedge honored as Humanitarian of the Year
Charlotte Hedge, broker/associate with Signature Sotheby’s International Realty, was honored as 2010 Humanitarian of the Year by the Women’s Council of Realtors (WCR).

Hedge is active with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota County, where she has taught weekly knitting classes to children for the past five years. She and her husband, Tom, have served as board members of the organization since 1993.

“I believe children are important to our future (and) to our community, and I have hope and confidence that our work is shielding and actually guiding our children for brighter futures in a robust Sarasota,” Hedge said in a prepared statement.

Hedge also donates a hand-knitted scarf from her “Charlotte’s Webs” collections each month to help raise money for WCR. She has been a Realtor since 1992.

+ Wagner Realty welcomes Robert Welch as associate
Robert Welch has joined Wagner Realty as a sales associate. Originally from Columbus, Ohio, he lived in Key West before moving to Bradenton. Welch is a graduate of Ohio State University and the Missouri Auction School. He holds real-estate licenses in Florida and Ohio.
