Little Leaguers gear up for Opening Day

The Braden River and Lakewood Ranch Little Leagues will welcome the start of the spring season with Opening Day Ceremonies Feb. 19.

The ceremonies will begin at 9 a.m. at each league’s respective field. The event is free and open to the public. Following the ceremony, players and their families will enjoy bounce houses, games, food and entertainment, among other activities. In addition, the players will take to the field for a series of exhibition games.
