Bird Key home sells for $4.5 million

The Bird Key home at 623 Mourning Dove Drive went under contract just nine days after it was listed by Deborah Beacham, of Michael Saunders & Co., for $4.8 million.

The home closed Feb. 7 for $4.5 million — 93.75% of its listing price. Kathleen Callender, also of Michael Saunders & Co., represented the buyer.

According to the deed filed at the Sarasota County Courthouse, the sellers were Robert and Shannon Warren, of Sarasota, and the buyer was Jacqueline Tilton, trustee, of Chicago.

Built in 2007, the home has more than 6,000 square feet of living space, five bedrooms, five bathrooms and a swimming pool. The property last sold for $4.85 million in November 2007.
