Marnie Matarese attended the Kiwanis Foundation Valentine’s Ball Feb. 12 in a stunning tulle-and-sequined gown.

“My mother wore this gown 20 years ago when she went to the Opera Ball, in Vienna,” Matarese said.
It was a perfect fit.

And Matarese recently made history of her own: She and her husband, Allen Hovis, and business partner, Dan Jasmer, opened J Wood Realty, at 330 S. Pineapple Ave., in Sarasota.
