Ranch swimmer qualifies for 2011 USA Swimming National Open Water Select Camp

Lakewood Ranch High swimmer Danielle Valley has been invited to the 2011 USA Swimming National Open Water Select Camp June 7-11 in Fort Myers.

The camp will feature the top 12 male and top 12 female swimmers in the 1500-meter freestyle based on their 2010 USA Swim times. Athletes will have the opportunity to qualify for the 2011 FINA World Championship in Shanghai, China, the 2011 World University Games in Shenzhen, China and the 2011 Pan American Games in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
