Pirates top Mustangs in OT

The Braden River High boys basketball team defeated rival Lakewood Ranch 55-49 in overtime of a Class 4A-District 10 contest Jan. 4.

Tre Bryant scored 16 points and hauled in six rebounds  to lead the way for Braden River. Trevon Young added 11 points and six rebounds while Stephen Ross had 12 points and six rebounds and Javar Baity scored 12 points and six rebounds while finishing 8-for-8 from the free throw line. 

Jordan Baker led all Lakewood scorers with 17 points. Brian Cobb recorded 11 points, 15 rebounds and five blocks. Tim Greenamoyer followed with 10 points.
