Central Sarasota County Little League Baseball registration begins

Batter up! Baseball season is soon, and it is time to sign up for Central Sarasota County Little League Baseball. Registration dates for the spring 2011 season are from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 15 and 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 19, at Twin Lakes Park, 6700 Clark Road.

Players who are ages 4 to 9 before May 1 are eligible to play this season. In order to register, CSCLL will need to see a birth certificate and a utility bill. The fees for the season are broken down into three different age groups: ages 4 to 6, $110; ages 7 to 8, $135; and 9 years old, $160. There is a $20 multiple player discount for families after the first paid player.
