Bay Point Park home sells for $1.3 million

The following residential real-estate transactions took place between Dec. 16 and Dec. 22. A home in Bay Point Park tops all the real-estate transactions from Dec. 16 to Dec. 22. Douglas and Sharon Kanter, of Sarasota, sold their home at 1535 Bay Point Drive to William and Donna Townsend, of Sarasota, for $1.28 million. Built in 1965, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 4,539 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.85 million in 2003.

Robert and Patricia Bradbury, of Sarasota, sold their home at 1664 Waldemere St. to Linda Barrett and Carl Gugino, trustees, for $690,000. Built in 1998, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, a pool and 2,642 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.26 million in 2005.

Oyster Bay Estates
Homesales Inc. sold the home at 1809 S. Lake Shore Drive to JP Morgan Chase Bank NA for $280,000. JP Morgan Chase Bank NA then sold the home to Leo Smith for $280,000. Built in 1963, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,744 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $591,000 in 2005.

Elizabeth Plonka sold her home at 3048 Goodwater St. to Priscilla Quist, of Sarasota, for $200,000. Built in 1963, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,082 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $158,000 in 2001.
