Lady Pirates advance to district semifinals

The Braden River High girls soccer team blanked Palmetto 6-0 in a Class 4A-District 10 quarterfinal match Jan. 20.

Sophomore Lindsey Seifert netted her second hat trick of the season to lead the way for Braden River. Senior captain Rachel Hassen scored a pair of goals and Morgan Haas scored a goal.

The third-seeded Lady Pirates will now travel to Seminole Osceola tonight to take on the Lady Warriors in a district semifinal match. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
