The Lakewood Ranch High varsity and JV wrestling teams both defeated Sarasota Jan. 19.
The Mustangs varsity squad defeated the Sailors 57-19. Nick Schilson (145 pounds), Sam Harper (160) and Kyle Riley-Hawkins (189) all recorded pins for Lakewood. The JV wrestling team defeated Sarasota 67-12. Ryan Golden (140) and Lucas Sanchez (171) both recorded pins in their respective matches.
