Home in the Village sells for $1 million

Helena Hogkvist Wallenberg-Lerner sold her home at 7130 Longboat Drive E. to Sarazona Limited, a BVI business company, of Tortola, British Virgin Islands, for $1 million. Built in 1948 and remodeled in 1975, the 1,968-square-foot home has three bedrooms, three bathrooms and a swimming pool. It last sold for $1.15 million in January 2004.

The sale was the largest of the 10 transactions that occurred on Longboat, Lido, St. Armands and Bird keys during the week of Jan. 10 through Jan. 14 and the sole sale to exceed $1 million. Of the week’s sales, nine occurred on Longboat Key, five of which were in Manatee County, and one took place on Bird Key.

Also in the Longbeach Village, Lucinda Geeding, of Bradenton, sold the home at 789 Broadway to Brian and Karen Feeney, of Castle Rock, Colo., for $145,000. Built in 1947 and remodeled in 1960, the 1,242-square-foot home has two bedrooms and one bathroom.

Islander Club
Margery Ziskind Brenner, Ellen Ziskind and Daniel Ziskind, successor co-trustees of the Rhea Goldman Trust Agreement, sold Unit PH-4-N at the 140-unit Islander Club, 2301 Gulf of Mexico Drive, to Julius Maar, of Sarasota, for $400,000. Built in 1970, the 1,235-square-foot unit has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It last sold for $157,500 in January 1989.

Seaplace
Jeffrey and Donna Werner, of Cornwall on Hudson, N.Y., sold Unit M2-110-C at 1945 Gulf of Mexico Drive in Unit V of the 461-unit Seaplace to B-2-B America LLC, a New York limited-liability company, which also has a Cornwall on Hudson address, for $316,000. Built in 1978, the 928-square-foot unit has two bedrooms and one bathroom. It last sold for $420,000 in December 2003.

Longboat Harbour
John McNulty, of Houston, sold Unit 201 in Building K at 4410 Exeter Drive in the 300-unit Longboat Harbour to Arthur and Jean McLoughlin, of Albertson, N.Y., for $305,000. Built in 1970, the 1,376-square-foot unit has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It last sold for $454,000 in May 2007.

Longboat Shores
Aurora Loan Services LLC, of Littleton, Colo., sold the home at 610 Longview Drive to Didier Gorbaty, of Rueil-Malmaison, France, for $280,000. Built in 1963, the 1,847-square-foot home has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It sold for $272,500 in May 1995. Aurora Loan Services LLC took the certificate of title in June 2010.

Cedars East
BAC Home Loans Servicing LP, formerly known as Countrywide Home Loans Servicing LP, sold Unit 3 at 508 Forrest Way in Cedars East condominium to Keith Andrews and Robert Radin, both of 791 Broadway, for $160,650. Built in 1990, the 1,501-square-foot unit has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It last sold for $320,000 in August 2004. BAC Home Loans Servicing LP took certificate of title in March.

Windward Bay
Richard Finley, of Wexford, Pa., purchased condominium Unit No. 16-VR-22C in Building N at Windward Bay, 4980 Gulf of Mexico Drive, from JPMorgan Chase Bank, national association, of Jacksonville, for $120,500. Built in 1974, the 1,198-square-foot unit has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It last sold for $205,000 in January 2002. JPMorgan Chase Bank took certificate of title in April.

The Colony Beach & Tennis Resort
Susan Goodman, of Ocean Grove, N.J., sold 104-N at the 217-unit Colony Beach & Tennis Resort, 1620 Gulf of Mexico Drive, to HMF Famcorp Inc., of Toronto, for $50,000. The 705-square-foot unit was built in 1973. It last sold for $136,500 in September 2000.

Bird Key
Wendy and Robert Grady Jr., of Haddonfield, N.J., sold the property located on Lot 16 in Block 6 on Bird Key Drive to James and Robin Hull, of Sarasota, for $350,000. The Sarasota County Property Appraiser’s website, sarasotaproperty.net, lists the property as a vacant lot. It last sold for $475,000 in December 2003.
