Members of the Lakewood Ranch Inter-District Authority Board will hire an outside search firm to handle advertising an upcoming vacancy for Town Hall’s executive director position and the vetting of applicants.

Board members today voted to continue their meeting to 1 p.m., Feb. 7, at Town Hall to give hiring companies a chance to submit proposals for service and to schedule presentations from them for that date.

IDA Chairman Tom Green said hiring a search company likely will cost about $20,000 — an expense covered within the district’s budget.
