The Technion Annual Dinner is co-chaired this year by two past national presidents of the American Technion Society, Mr. Henry Taub (Longboat Key and New Jersey) and Mr. Ted Krengel (Sarasota and Chicago). Both are leaders in the philanthropic community.
The Annual Dinner features a prominent scientist from Technion University (Haifa, Israel) as the speaker, and a local honoree. Both names will be announced in the fall of 2010.
Technion University is known as the M.I.T. of Israel and boasts the nation's first Nobel Laureates in Science. It is a world leader in medical, biomedical, and engineering science, research and development.
