Calling all cute critters!

Think you have a cute critter?

The Humane Society of Manatee County is looking for photogenic cats and dogs for its Pet Photo Calendar Contest. Pet lovers can enter the contest by linking to www.humanemanatee.org and clicking on the calendar website. 

Once photos are uploaded, voting begins, and the overall winner will be featured on the cover of the 2012 calendar. The calendar’s inside then will feature the five top-finishing dogs and cats. Votes are $1 each, and all proceeds benefit Humane Society.

The contest will continue until 5 p.m., Aug. 15.
