Meteors win World Series Championship

The Meteors 8U travel baseball team recently captured the USSSA World Series tournament championship in Kissimmee.

The team went undefeated in the tournament, outscoring its opponents 47-6. The Meteors, who will move up to 9U Aug. 1, finished the 2010-11 season ranked No. 2 in the country.

Championship players include: Connor Krug, Jake Krug, Chase Yniguez, Nicolas Hadad, Caden Chamberlin, John Schroeder, Camden Martin, Lucas Hartman, Stone Frishman and Billy Wilds.
