Mohanty brothers win Florida Open doubles title

Arnav and Arsav Mohanty, who play tennis for Lakewood Ranch High, captured the Florida Open Nationals Boys 16 doubles title July 12 in Fort Myers.

The twin brothers defeated David Crisovan and Nikita Kardivar 8-4 in the final. Last year, the Mohantys reached the quarterfinals of the Florida Open, but rain delays and another national tournament kept the two from advancing.

In addition to the Florida Open, the Mohantys have also won the Florida Designated Doubles title and the Florida State Closed Sectional Doubles title. Arnav and Arsav are currently ranked 13^th and 14^th, respectively, in the Florida USTA rankings.
