Sarasota Bay Club condo sells for $795,000

The following residential real-estate transactions took place between July 4 and July 8 in Sarasota.

A condo sale at Sarasota Bay Club tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Sarasota Bay Club LLC sold the Unit 1002 condominium at 1301 Tamiami Trail to Lola Hoenig, Sarasota, for $795,000. Built in 2000, it has two bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 1,832 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $870,000 in 2008.

Alinari
Lawrence and Linda Twill, trustees, Sarasota, sold the Unit 507 condominium at 800 N. Tamiami Trail to James Hanrahan, New York, for $527,500. Built in 2007, it has two bedrooms, two-and-one-half baths and 1,911 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $909,000 in 2007.

Harbor Acres
Theodore Simon and Barbara Simon, trustees, Sarasota, sold the home at 1361 Harbor Drive to Chad Williams, Sarasota, for $450,000. Built in 1946, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,858 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $29,500 in 1970.

Kentwood Estates
Nancy Janulis, trustee, sold the home at 1554 Eastbrook Drive to Cynthia Day, Sarasota, for $333,000. Built in 1967, it has two bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,736 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $74,900 in 1978.

Forest Lakes Country Club Estates
Paul and Joann Yoder, of Hicksville, Ohio, sold their home at 3440 Sea View St. to Samuel and Lydia King, of Gordonville, Pa., for $275,000. Built in 1969, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,709 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $178,500 in 2001.

Granda
Sherri Mills and Stephen Ellis, Sarasota, sold their home at 3708 Flores Ave. to Equine Real Estate LLC for $225,000. Built in 1951, it has four bedrooms, two baths and 1,435 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $375,000 in 2003.

Anita Plutchik, Sarasota, sold her home at 5556 Bilbao Place to Roy and Suzanne Wilson, Sarasota, for $390,000. Built in 2001, it has four bedrooms, four baths and 2,521 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $590,000 in 2006.

Edward and Madeline West, of Jackson, N.J., sold their home at 5614 Octonia Place to Michael and Roberta Leibowitz, of Omaha, Neb., for $367,500. Built in 2003, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,201 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $302,800 in 2003.

JoAnn Markoff, trustee, sold the home at 5739 Ivrea Drive to John and Lynn McLauchlin, of Ontario, Canada, for $244,000. Built in 2002, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,534 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $186,900 in 2002.

Arielle on Palmer Ranch
Linda Darling-Hammond sold her Unit 505 condominium at 6970 Prosperity Circle to David Roberts and Patricia Dionne, of Ontario, Canada, for $205,000. Built in 2004, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,638 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $297,000 in 2004.

Pelican Cove
Judith Papalia, Sarasota, sold the Unit 112 condominium at 1601 Pelican Point Drive to Mark Hebert, of Worcester, Mass., for $200,000. Built in 1979, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,216 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $253,000 in 2003.

Leonard and Diane Smoler, Venice, sold their home at 97 Sugar Mill Drive to Xiaoping Yang, of Vancouver, Canada, for $575,000. Built in 1990, it has four bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths, a pool and 4,215 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $660,000 in 1993.

Holiday Harbor
Christopher and Jennifer Ackerland, Sarasota, sold their home at 7769 N. Holiday Drive to Brian and Jessica Haworth, Sarasota, for $533,000. Built in 2005, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, a pool and 2,688 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $470,000 in 2003.

Sorrento Bayside Park
Jeryl Olson, Land O’ Lakes, James Dezelick, of Barrington Hills, Ill., and Gretchen Dezelick, of Greeley, Colo., trustees, sold the home at 341 Bayside Parkway to Rodney Felton, of Victor, Iowa, for $220,000. Built in 1994, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,012 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $134,900 in 1994.
