+ Theresa Zupon named Key Club human resources director
Theresa Zupon has been named director of human resources for the Longboat Key Club and Resort. Zupon has worked in human-resource leadership for multiple four-diamond and five-star properties, including Noble House Hotel & Resorts, Sanibel Harbour Resort & Spa, the Beverly Hills Hotel and Westin Hotels & Resorts. She will focus on development-and-retention opportunities and the implementation of new health-and-wellness programs for employees of the resort.

Zupon is a graduate of Duquesne University, in Pittsburgh, and a Lakewood Ranch resident.

+ Edward Jones on the Circle to hold planning seminars
The St. Armands Circle branch of Edward Jones will hold a seminar entitled “Key Life Decisions: Are You Prepared?” from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2, at Divino Restaurant & Bar, 1766 Main St., Sarasota.
