Casey Key home sells for $7.6 million

A home on Casey Key in Treasure Island Shores tops all real-estate transactions from July 11 to July 15. Ermon and Linda Pickard, of Savannah, Tenn., sold their home at 1011 Casey Key Road to Kenneth Rowe Investments Limited Partnership for $7,575,000. Built in 2004, it has six bedrooms, six baths, four-half baths, a pool and 10,291 square feet of living area.

Embassy House
Kristen Duckett, of Glen Ridge, N.J., sold her Unit 204 condominium at 770 S. Palm Ave. to George and Bernice Cummings, of Cape Coral, for $510,000. Built in 1975, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,991 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $428,000 in 1999.

Oyster Bay East
Russell Matthes, of Sarasota, sold his home at 1914 Hillsdale Place to Sarah Martinez, of Bowdoinham, Maine, for $310,000. Built in 1978, it has two bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,596 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $139,500 in 1998.

Phillippi Gardens
Melvin and Anna-Maria Nelson, of Katy, Texas, sold their home at 5548 Waneta Place to Dale Raines, of Sarasota, for $285,000. Built in 1968, it has two bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,480 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $138,000 in 1994.

Sapphire Shores
Gretchen Maguire, trustree, sold the home at 4852 Brywill Circle to Cheryle Hall and Thomas Brubaker, of Sarasota, for $274,000. Built in 1979, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,769 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $215,000 in 1999.

Riverview Manor
Dorothy Blake sold her home at 2540 Waterview Court to Thomas and Alyson Stone, of Westfield, Mass., for $200,000. Built in 1991, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,138 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $148,000 in 1992.

Thomas Grogean and Kayda Valone, of Sarasota, sold their home at 3959 Prairie Dunes Drive to Gerald and Marilyn Naylen, of Saskatchewan, Canada, for $340,000. Built in 1986, it has four bedrooms, four baths, a pool and 2,862 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $715,000 in 2005.

Wellington Chase
Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corp. sold the home at 6225 Weymouth Drive to Richard and Jane Glennan, of Sarasota, for $245,000. Built in 1997, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,192 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $194,000 in 2000.

Thomas Volpe sold his home at 6730 Paseo Castille to Robert Langlais Jr. and Robert Stewart, of Mashpee, Mass., for $225,000. Built in 1991, it has two bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,676 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $235,000 in 2004.

Mark and Valerie Anderson sold their home at 531 Habitat Blvd. to John and Carol Kompare, of Osprey, for $410,000. Built in 2002, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,550 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $455,000 in 2009.

Park Trace Estates
Lawrence and Jacqueline Hazen, of Woodstock, Vt., sold their home at 810 Oak Briar Lane to Michael and Suzanne Okin, of Osprey, for $369,800. Built in 2001, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,607 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $350,000 in 2004.

Donald and Judith Duran, of Nokomis, sold their home at 2390 Sonoma Drive to Brian Stiles, of Wheaton, Ill., for $337,500. Built in 2002, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, a pool and 2,424 square feet of living area.
