Sarasota - A Siesta Key home sells for $3.2 million

A home in Siesta Properties Inc. tops all transactions from May 30 through June 3. Darrin and Shannon Fedder sold their home at 7660 Sanderling Road to Stacey Siegel, Sarasota, for $3.2 million. Built in 1982, it has seven bedrooms, six baths and 3,813 square feet of living area. It sold for $1.75 million in 1999.

SARASOTA
San Remo Estates
C. Beth Cotner and John Alogna, trustees, sold the home at 1502 Siesta Drive to UDA FIDU Inc. for $1.75 million. Built in 2006, it has four bedrooms, four-and-one-half baths, a pool and 5,160 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $3 million in 2007.

The Tower Residences
James Beshara, of Youngstown, Ohio, sold his unit 1103 condominium at 35 Watergate Drive to Joanne Delmastro, of Glastonbury, Conn., for $1.57 million. Built in 2003, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,985 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.85 million in 2004.

Baywood Colony Westport
Gary and Desiree Littlestar, of Missouri City, Texas, sold their home at 5824 Tidewood Ave. to Peter and Lisa Catalano, of North Andover, Mass., for $1.35 million. Built in 1992, it has four bedrooms, four-and-one-half baths, a pool and 4,619 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $955,000 in 1999.

Floyd and Cameron’s
David and Vainica Bauman, of Pebble Beach, Calif., sold their home at 1830 Loma Linda St. to Thomas and Nancee Jackson, Sarasota, for $1.1 million. Built in 2002, it has three bedrooms, three-and-one-half baths, a pool and 3,984 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.65 million in 2005.

Oyster Bay Estates
Becca Properties LLC sold the home at 1439 S. Lake Shore Drive to Michael and Christine Hays, Sarasota, for $1.07 million. Built in 1959, it has three bedrooms, four baths, a pool and 4,407 square feet of living area. It sold for $1.31 million in 2008.

Plaza at Five Points
Norma Herman, of Montgomery, Md., sold her unit 12F condominium at 50 Central Ave. to Malouf and Therese Abraham, of Canadian, Texas, for $975,000. Built in 2005, it has two bedrooms, two-and-one-half baths and 2,356 square feet of living area.

Aqualane Estates
A&B Interests Inc. sold the home at 1810 Meadowood St. to Philip and Mary Chaikin, of Belle Mead, N.J., for $760,000. Built in 2010, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 3,091 square feet.

Kanaya
Kanaya Properties LLC sold the unit 803 condominium at 505 S. Orange Ave. to Danny Finn and David Piszczek, of Sarasota, for $550,000. Built in 2007, it has three bedrooms, three-and-one-half baths and 3,003 square feet of living area.

Sarasota Bay Club
Sarasota Bay Club LLC sold the unit 304 condominium at 1301 N. Tamiami Trail to Elliot Ellis, of Sarasota, for $472,000. Built in 2000, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,424 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $379,000 in 2001.

1350 Main
Jack Miller and Jack and Daniel Miller, trustees, sold the unit 904 condominium at 1350 Main St. to Patricia McGarry, of Sarasota, for $445,000. Built in 2007, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,336 square feet of living area. It sold for $534,400 in 2007.

Bay Haven
Ronald and Sheryl Coughlin, of Solana Beach, Calif., sold their home at 904 Virginia Drive to Christopher and Nancy Wood, of Sarasota, for $415,000. Built in 1941, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 1,813 square feet of living area. It sold for $240,000 in 2004.

Eva Burnell, of Sarasota, sold her home at 978 Virginia Drive to Mason and Darla Crocker, of Weston, Conn., for $300,000. Built in 1925, it has three bedrooms, four baths and 4,039 square feet of living area.
Gloria Watkins, of Berea, Ky., sold her home at 3004 Bayshore Circle to Gordon Little, of Watertown, S.D., for $265,000. Built in 1955, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,604 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $264,000 in January.

Granada
Stuart and Paula Kerxton, of Gainesville, Va., sold their home at 3850 Flores Ave. to Marc and Susan Golden, of Sidney, Maine, for $407,000. Built in 1935, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,001 square feet of living area. It sold for $180,000 in 1994.

One Watergate
Neil and Margaret Molloy, of Sarasota, sold their unit 7-B condominium at 1111 N. Gulfstream Ave. to Ronald and Rola Cotran, of Fayetteville, N.Y., for $392,000. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,575 square feet of living area. It sold for $420,000 in 2002.

Carol Weber, trustee, sold the home at 2546 Marblehead Drive to John and Shonne Miller, of Sarasota, for $357,000. Built in 2005, it has two bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,106 square feet of living area.

Joseph and Joette Muscatell sold their home at 1359 Tea Rose Place to Brett Blair, of Sarasota, for $350,000. Built in 1998, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,543 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $340,000 in 2000.

Marsha Nelson sold the home at 1695 Lowe Drive to Allison Pinto, of Sarasota, for $251,000. Built in 1959, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 909 square feet of living area. It sold for $285,000 in 2009.

Maria Pettit, trustee, sold the home at 5587 Merrimac Drive to Denise Hetrick, of Sarasota, for $230,000. Built in 1962, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,948 square feet. It sold for $45,000 in 1977.

South Gate
David and Trisha Ivey, of Sarasota, sold their home at 2400 S. Brink Ave. to Eric and Meredith Piazza, of Sarasota, for $224,000. Built in 1960, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 1,750 square feet of living area. It sold for $192,000 in 2003.

Milton and Florence Johnson, of Sarasota, sold their unit 6 condominium at 6308 Midnight Pass Road to Donald Barsalou Jr., of Longmeadow, Mass., for $329,000. Built in 1965, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,064 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $32,000 in 1972.

Sarasota Beach
James and Carol McCann, of Washington, D.C., sold their home at 508 Avenida De Mayo to Joseph Perry, of Sarasota, for $317,500. Built in 1951, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 1,206 square feet of living area. It sold for $358,000 in 2003.

Carmen Grammatica, of Sarasota, sold her home at 463 Island Circle to Colin Dalton, of Newfoundland, Canada, for $230,000. Built in 1971, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,440 square feet of living area.

Sunrise Cove
Janet and Timothy Solomon, of Sarasota, sold their unit 526 condominium at 9011 Midnight Pass Road to Carl and Sheila Rubin, of Arvada, Colo., for $300,000. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,093 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $565,000 in 2006.

Polynesian Gardens
Terrence and M. Elaine Reinhart, of Belmont, Mass., sold their unit G-6 condominium at 1232 Moonmist Circle to Robert and Lisa Whiteacre, of Oceanport, N.J., for $240,000. Built in 1968, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,326 square feet of living area. It sold for $315,000 in 2003.

Leslie Lacktman, of Sarasota, sold her unit S-7 condominium at 6005 Midnight Pass Road to Cheryl Moreau, of Laconia, N.H., for $235,000. Built in 1965, it has one bedroom, one bath and 755 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $279,000 in 2004.

Eugene and Margaret Wegner, of Sarasota, sold their unit A-52 condominium at 6157 Midnight Pass Road to Sunshine Leasing Inc. for $207,800. Built in 1975, it has two bedrooms, three baths and 1,192 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $77,000 in 1980.

Nancy Myers, trustee, sold the home at 4472 Staghorn Lane to Matthew and Shannon Benjamin, of Sarasota, for $410,000. Built in 1990, it has three bedrooms, two-and-one-half baths, a pool and 2,695 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $284,000 in 1998.

Teresa Buchnowski, of North Tonawanda, N.Y., sold her home at 5792 Ferrara Drive to Edward Lahey Jr., of Sarasota, for $375,000. Built in 2002, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,008 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $299,800 in 2002.

Frederick and Donna Jorgensen, of Beaufort, N.C., sold their home at 5767 Ivrea Drive to Aksel Hagen for $287,000. Built in 2002, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,534 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $268,000 in 2009.

Carol Young sold her home at 7534 Quinto Drive to Susanna Chakany, of Sarasota, for $215,000. Built in 2003, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,693 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $321,000 in 2005.

Margaret Quinn-Clarke and Ralph Clarke, of Sarasota, sold their home at 7816 Bergamo Ave. to Anthony Brunone, of Sarasota, for $215,000. Built in 2004, it has three bedrooms, two-and-one-half baths and 1,672 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $241,500 in 2004.

Parisienne Gardens
Kenneth and Elsa Beckerman sold their unit 101 condominium at 5222 Parisienne Place to Alexander and Patricia Krulikowski, of Milford, Mich., for $280,000. Built in 2004, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,798 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $386,000 in 2005.

Else Russell-Olen, trustee, sold the unit 203 condominium at 7602 Fairway Woods Drive to Rose Zeegers, of Sarasota, for $267,000. Built in 1985, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,556 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $230,000 in 1995.
