Connor Baldwin named 2011 Player of the Year

The Greater Tampa Junior Golf Association recently named Lakewood Ranch High golfer Connor Baldwin as its 2011 Player of the Year.

Baldwin, who will be a senior at Lakewood this fall, edged out Brian Allen of Newsome High in total points to claim the overall Tour title. Junior golfer Connor Lynch of St. Stephen’s won the Tours Tournament of Champions. All three golfers will represent the GTJGA in the boys 16-18 division of the Florida Junior Team Championships Aug. 6-7 at Sandridge Golf Club in Vero Beach.
