Lido property tops week's sales

Lewis and Debra Comer, of Unit 1104, sold Unit A-802 at L’Elegance on Lido Beach, 1800 Benjamin Franklin Drive, to Kerstin Halsall, Constance Crosby and Cecil Rochwerg, as trustees of The Sapphire Trust, of Ontario, for $1,083,000. Built in 1996, the 1,980-square-foot unit has three bedrooms and three bathrooms. It last sold for $718,000 in April 2000.

The sale was the largest key transaction recorded during the week of June 6 through June 10 at the Sarasota and Manatee county courthouses and the only sale to exceed $1 million. Of the week’s 11 sales, eight occurred on Longboat Key, three of which were in Manatee County, while three occurred on Lido Key.

Longboat Shores
Peter and Beth Semchuk, of Longboat Key, sold their home at 622 Buttonwood Drive in Longboat Shores to Stephen and Hannah Miller for $799,000. Built in 1992, the 3,063-square-foot home has three bedrooms, three bathrooms and a swimming pool. It last sold for $740,000 in October 2002.

Islander Club
Bridget Spiess, of Sarasota, individually and as trustee of the Glendening Revocable Trust Agreement, sold Unit 33-S at the 140-unit Islander Club, 2295 Gulf of Mexico Drive, to Ronnie Carter, Brenda Carter and Ainsley Carter, of Macon, Ga., for $512,500. Built in 1970, the 1,235-square-foot unit has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It last sold for $575,000 in July 2004.

Fairway Bay
Larry and Susan Quesenberry, of Murfreesboro, Tenn., sold Unit 542 at 2110 Harbourside Drive at the 288-unit Fairway Bay to Angela Mantilla, of Newtown, Pa., for $510,000. Built in 1988, the 2,039-square-foot unit has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It last sold for $527,500 in February 2001.

Beachplace
H. Thomas and Carol Gable, of Warsaw, Ohio, sold Unit 203 at 1065 Gulf of Mexico Drive in the 336-unit Beachplace to Siegrun Schlick for $380,000. Built in 1981, the 1,503-square-foot unit has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It last sold for $105,000 in October 1996.

Portobello
Paul and Debra Gilbert, of Bloomsburg, Pa., sold Unit B-104 at the bayside phase of the 74-unit Portobello, 3240 Gulf of Mexico Drive, to John and Maryann Mazzaferro, of Rome, N.Y., for $260,000. Built in 1975, the 1,260-square-foot unit has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It last sold for $255,000 in March 2008.

Longbeach Village
Macel Flenner, of Basalt, Co., sold the home at 660 Russell St. in the Longbeach Village to Thomas Barnum and Jennifer Redding, husband and wife, of Moab, Utah, for $240,000. Built in 1948 and remodeled in 1980, the 931-square-foot home has two bedrooms and one bathroom. It last sold for $215,000 in March 1999.

Sutton Place
Elaine Kennedy, of Punta Gorda, sold Unit T-11 at the 80-unit Sutton Place to Carmen DiDiano and Kathryn Quigley, husband and wife, of Wexford, Pa., for $219,500. Built in 1972, the 756-square-foot unit has one bedroom and one bathroom. It last sold for $360,500 in October 2004.

Windward Bay
Margie Kallmeyer, of Sarasota, sold Unit 203 at 4540 Gulf of Mexico Drive at the 151-unit Windward Bay to Windward Bay Inc., a Florida nonprofit corporation, for $115,000. Built in 1975, the 1,096-square-foot unit has two bedrooms and one bathroom. It last sold for $42,500 in February 1978.

Lido Beach
CB Florida RRE Holdings LLC, of Bradenton, sold the home at 520 Polk Drive in Lido Beach Division B to Terry and Pamela Shirley for $375,000. Built in 1949, the 1,232-square-foot home has two bedrooms and one bathroom. It last sold for $225,100 in September 2010.

Lido Shores
Eric Robinson, of Coral Springs, sold the home at 350 S. Polk Drive in Lido Shores to Brian and Maria McGee, of Port Washington, N.Y., for $210,500. Built in 1977, the 1,036-square-foot home has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It last sold for $150,100 in December 1997.
