Philanthropic faux pas

It would seem Primrose School of Lakewood Ranch is just helping too many organizations lately.

The East County Observer in the June 16 edition ran an Our Town entry regarding Primrose’s $1,300 donation to SOLVE Maternity Homes of Bradenton and Primrose Children’s Foundation.

However, the photo that ran with the entry actually was for the $15,000 donation the school made to All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg. That money was raised during the Primrose’s Family Dance Off in which the Phayre family placed third.

We regret the error.
