Usually, a teacher may have one or two students who qualify as “teacher’s pets.”
Braden River Elementary’s Dr. Donna Nixon had a whole classroom full of them.
To honor their teacher, mother Jill Cushing created T-shirts for the class and Nixon. The front read, “Dr. Nixon’s Teachers Pets,” and the back of the shirts featured students’ signatures.
