Sleepy Lagoon home sells for $1,775,000

James and Pamela Eatrides, of Bradenton Beach, sold their home at 700 Lyons Lane, in Sleepy Lagoon, to Michael and Desiree Trahan, of Waitsfield, Vt., for $1,775,000. Built in 2006, the 4,763-square-foot home has three bedrooms, three bathrooms and a swimming pool. The property last sold for $325,000 in April 1999.

The sale was the largest of eight key transactions recorded during the week of June 13 through June 17 at the Sarasota and Manatee county courthouses and was one of two sales to exceed $1 million. Of the week’s sales, five took place on Longboat Key, four of which were in Manatee County, while two occurred on Bird Key and one took place on St. Armands Key.

Also in Sleepy Lagoon, Frank and Sherri Vero, of Ocala, sold the home at 700 Penfield St. to Robert and Marie McGregor for $625,000. Built in 1980, the 1,876-square-foot home has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It last sold for $800,000 in October 2004.

Dream Island Road
Christopher and Michelle Piotrowski, of Skokie, Ill., sold their home at 660 Dream Island Road to Scott and Kristine Boos, of Tampa, for $515,000. Built in 1946 and remodeled in 1978, the 1,836-square-foot home has three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a swimming pool. It last sold for $725,000 in May 2004.

Westchester
Robert and Carol Lawrence sold Apartment 305 at Westchester condominiums, 4835 Gulf of Mexico Drive, to William and Christie Krugler, of Whitefish Bay, Wis., for $415,000. Built in 1970, the 1,393-square-foot unit has two bedrooms and one bathroom.

Islander Club
Richard and Lillian Turin, of Sarasota, sold Apartment 53-N at the Islander Club of Longboat, 2301 Gulf of Mexico Drive, to Peggy Gluck, who purchased a 50% interest, and Jeffrey Buehler and Lori Gluck, who purchased the remaining 50% interest, all of Syosset, N.Y., for $375,000. Built in 1970, the 1,235-square-foot unit has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It last sold for $175,000 in
March 1992.

Longbeach Village
Justin Emsley and Sarah Lyons, of Manchester, England, sold the home at 751 Fox St. in the Longbeach Village to Jo Anne Kirk, of Mouchan, France, for $180,250. Built in 1956 and remodeled in 1970, the 1,276-square-foot home has two bedrooms and one bathroom. It last sold for $410,000 in April 2005.

Bird Key
Frost National Bank and French Cary III, co-trustees, of San Antonio, sold the home at 375 W. Royal Flamingo Drive to David and Laurie Moran for $1,598,000. Built in 1966, the 2,058-square-foot home has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half bathrooms and a swimming pool.

932284 Ontario Inc., a Canadian corporation, sold the home at 355 W. Royal Flamingo Drive to Bernard and Jean Boutet and Cheryl Kinerk for $1,015,000. Built in 1964, the 2,884-square-foot home has four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a swimming pool. It last sold for $524,000 in October 1994.

St. Armands
Kerry and Margaret Norton, of East Yorks, England, sold the home at 139 N. Blvd. of the Presidents on St. Armands Key to Ashwini and Leslie Bahl, of Plant City, for $480,000. Built in 1952, the 1,740-square-foot home has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half bathrooms and a swimming pool. It last sold for $179,000 in October 1990.
