Spend an afternoon in the lap of luxury visiting five multimillion-dollar homes throughout Bird Key, St. Armands Key and Lido Shores at the Sarasota Orchestra Masterworks Showcase.

The March 5 date is the second “opus” of the Masterworks Showcase Tour of Luxury Homes, which begins Friday, March 4 in Casey Key and The Oaks. The first day of the tour is already sold out, but guests can still get their fill of high-end living during “Opus II” at “A Frolic on Bird Key and St. Armands,” which will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 5.

The tour will begin at the “Generations at Home” house, located at 228 Seagull Lane, on Bird Key. Guests will check-in there and receive a program book that will direct them to the next four homes throughout the showcase. The tour is self-guided, allowing guests to view the homes in any order they prefer.

All of the homes are listed for sale by Michael Saunders & Co. and range from $3.5 million to $7 million. Each house will feature luxury lifestyle experts, including chefs from the Longboat Key Club and Resort and the Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota, representatives from Saks Fifth Avenue displaying evening wear, local art galleries and performances by Sarasota Youth Orchestra members.

Proceeds benefit the Sarasota Orchestra and its youth programs.

Tickets are available for $35 in advance or $40 on the day of the tour. For information, visit www.sarasotaorchestra.org or contact event Chairwoman Anne Scott at 685-0425.
