Thunder tops Northside Christian

The Out-of-Door Academy baseball team defeated Northside Christian 6-1 in district action March 5.

Pitcher Scooter Friss earned the victory for the Thunder, allowing one hit while striking out seven in three innings of work. Alex Horan pitched the final four innings for ODA, allowing one run and three hits while striking out five.

Austin Hoppe went 3-for-4 with a double, a RBI and two runs scored and Brenden Bercaw went 2-for-3 with two RBIs to lead the way for ODA at the plate.
