Mustang tennis wins three straight

The Lakewood Ranch High boys tennis team improved its record to 6-1 with wins over Sarasota, Bayshore and Manatee.

On March 1, the Mustangs defeated Sarasota 6-1. Arsav Mohanty (No. 1), Christian Strong (No. 3), Drew Christianson and Leo Muri (No. 5) all earned singles victories for Lakewood. Mohanty then teamed up with his twin brother Arnav for a victory in No. 1 doubles. Robert and Christian Strong were victorious in No. 2 doubles.

On March 2, the Lakewood defeated Bayshore 5-1. Christian Strong (No. 2) Robert Strong (No. 3), Christian (No. 4) and Muri (No. 5) all earned singles victories, and Christianson and Muri were also victorious in No. 2 doubles.

Lakewood rounded out the week with a 7-0 victory over Manatee March 3. Arnav Mohanty (No. 1), Christian Strong (No. 2), Robert Strong (No. 3), and Muri (No. 5) swept the singles matches while Mohanty and Robert Strong and Christianson and Muri swept the doubles matches.
