Lakewood Ranch High graduate Mike Myers represented Mercer University at the NCWA National Wrestling Championships today in Macon, Ga.
Myers, who graduated in 2010 and became the first Lakewood wrestler to wrestle in college, pinned his first opponent before falling in the second round. Myers advanced to the consolation round where he won his opening match.
The NCWA National Wrestling Championships will continue through Sunday.
