Lakewood Ranch victorious in district action

The Lakewood Ranch High softball team defeated St. Pete Lakewood 7-1 in district action March 24.

Brittany Kilduff pitched a complete game for the Lady Mustangs, allowing three hits while striking out 10 and walking one.

Amber Wimmer went 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored and Dana Hutchins went 1-for-2 with a double, a walk and two runs scored to lead the way for Lakewood at the plate. Katie Hopkins went 1-for-3 with a double, three RBIs and a run scored.
