Bay City Ballers win Sarasota XPlosion Shoot Out

The Bay City Ballers seventh-grade boys basketball team defeated the X-Factors 40-39 to win first place in the Sarasota XPlosion Shoot Out March 4.

Trailing by a point with 7.5 seconds left in regulation, the Bay City Ballers scored a basket to win the game and finish the tournament undefeated.

Talon Pickney was named the game’s MVP and Nick Peacock and D’Andre Bass were named to the All-Tournament team.
