Lady Pirates swing past Lady Rams

The Braden River High softball team defeated Riverview 4-1 March 29.

Sophomore Courtney Mirabella pitched the first six innings for Braden River, allowing two hits and a walk while striking out 15. Hannah Loyer closed out the game, allowing one run on two hits while striking out one.

Brianna Maxa went 3-for-4 with a double, a RBI and a run scored; and Nicole Tira went 1-for-4 with a triple and two RBIs to lead the way for the Lady Pirates at the plate. Kenya Yancy went 2-for-4 with a run scored.
