FC Sarasota U16 boys advance to State Final Four

The FC Sarasota U16 boys soccer team will face HCU, the top-ranked team in the state, in the state semifinals May 21.

The game will be held at 12 p.m. at the Florida Youth Soccer Association Complex in Auburndale.

FC Sarasota, which trains in Heritage Harbour and plays at the State Road 70 Soccer Complex, advanced to the State Final Four after winning its State Cup group March 26-27 in Pensacola. The team then advanced to the Round of Sixteen, which was held April 30 through May 1 at the Premier Sports Campus in Lakewood Ranch.

FC Sarasota has won all five of its games, having outscored its opponents 13-0.
