+ Braden River club announces tryouts
The Braden River Soccer Club will host tryouts for its competitive teams from May 31 through June 5.
Tryouts will be open to all players ages 8-18.

+ i9 Sports to host summer camp
i9 sports will host a multi-sport summer camp from 8:45 a.m. to 3 p.m., June 13-17 and June 20-24 at Bayside Community Church, 15800 S.R. 64 E.

The camp is open to all children, ages 5-12, at a cost of $145 per week.

+ Tabernacle golfers finish perfect season
The Tabernacle Christian School golf team recently completed another perfect season.

The team, which plays at Waterlefe Golf and River Club, finished with a record of 15-0, following last season’s perfect 13-0 record.

Golfers include: Victoria Johnson, Kevyn Rametta, Francisco Marcano-Santos, Stephen Waskom, Cole Haggard and Nathan Cunneen.

+ Pirates set summer basketball camp
The Braden River High basketball team will host its 7th annual Summer Basketball Camp from 8:30 a.m. to noon, June 13-16, June 20-23 and July 5-8.

Braden River coach Matt Nesser, assistant coaches and Pirates players will provide players with the fundamental skills to help aid them in their individual development. Campers will improve through individual instruction, skill stations, competitions and team games. Camper of the Day, Hustle and Best Attitude awards will be handed out at the end of each day of camp.

The camp is open to all students entering third through ninth grades. The cost, which includes a camp T-shirt, daily awards and a basketball (if registered before June 6), is $120 for one week, $220 for two weeks or $300 for all three weeks. A 10% discount for Manatee County School Board members will be available as well as family rates and financial aid.
