Pirates swing into summer camp

The Braden River High baseball team will host its 2011 Pirates Baseball Summer Camp from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., June 13-16 at the Braden River High baseball field.

The camp, which is open to all players, ages 6-14, will help players improve their baseball skills while learning the fundamentals of hitting, pitching, base running, fielding and throwing. The Pirates coaching staff and current and former Varsity players will also cover baseball strategy, team defense and offensive situation hitting.

The cost is $110 per player and water will be provided. Drinks will be available for $1 and participants are asked to bring their own lunch.
