Engineering students at Lakewood Ranch High School today put their permanent stamp of school spirit on their campus.

Students in Greg McGrew's Engineering 2 class unveiled a 9-foot-tall Mustang statue they have spent the last four months creating. All Phases Welding co-owner Brad Ranney has worked with students on the welding project.

"I'm very proud (of my students)," McGrew said. "In many cases, this was the first welding they had done. It was a win win for everybody."
