13 — Number of seconds by which Sarasota Crew Boys 4+ bested 76 boats to win first place in the Head of the Charles Regatta, held Oct. 22 to Oct. 23, in Cambridge, Mass.

3 — Number of gold awards the Sarasota Scullers won at the 2011 Head of Indian Creek Regatta Oct. 16, in Miami. The team also took home one silver and four bronze medals.

2 — Number of goals Cardinal Mooney High School Junior Hannah Howard scored Nov. 1 against Sarasota Christian to lead her team to a 5-0 victory.

36-0 — Score of Friday’s game between the Sarasota Sailors and Riverview Rams football teams. The Sarasota Sailors were presented with the first Sarasota Challenge trophy at the end of the game.

8 — Number of Sarasota Sharks swimmers whom USA Swimming named to the 2010-11 Scholastic All-American Team: Cha-Cha Bugatti, Nick Caldwell, Mckenzie Clark, Rachel Harrington, Cameron Davis, Taylor Katz, Matt O’Donnell and Kathryn Woolbright. 

1,030 — Number of total points Riverview’s men’s and women’s swim and diving teams accumulated in 24 events at the 2011 FHSAA District Swimming & Diving Meet, Class 3A, District 6, held Oct. 28, at the Selby Aquatic Center. Riverview took first place at the meet.
