Jaysa Molina, a second-grader at Braden River Elementary School, was one of 20 students to win the annual Sarasota Manatee Airport Art Contest.
Jaysa completed her original art project under the direction of BRE art teacher Dr. Donna Hart. Her framed artwork will be displayed at the airport for a year.
An open house for the students and their teachers will be held at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 1.
