Lady Pirates win Preseason Classic

The Braden River High basketball team went 2-0 in the Braden River Preseason Classic Nov. 8-9.

The Lady Pirates defeated Desoto 51-18 Nov. 8. Kenyata Waiters scored 13 points and Kelly Logan added 11 points to lead the way for Braden River. Kiki Mitchell finished with nine rebounds.

On Nov. 9, Braden River defeated Booker 40-14. Madison Jaco led the way with nine points and Mitchell hauled in nine rebounds.

Braden River returns to action Nov. 14 versus Desoto.
