End of the road

The Lakewood Ranch High volleyball team saw its historic season come to a close with a 3-0 loss to Tarpon Springs in the Class 3A-Region 3 finals Nov. 12.

The Lady Mustangs fell to the Lady Spongers 27-25, 25-17, 25-23.

Mariah Robertson finished with 16 kills, four blocks and three digs to lead the way for Lakewood. Shelby Walker added 10 kills and four blocks. Ashlyn Falahee recorded seven kills. Setter Ali Milbourn served up 34 assists and two kills. Quillan Toler added three kills and a block and Emily Ruple had four kills.
