Vitale meets President Obama

Lakewood Ranch resident and ESPN commentator Dick Vitale had a chance to meet President Barack Obama during the Carrier Classic game Nov. 11. It was the first game Vitale has announced this season.

President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama attended a special game between the University of North Carolina and Michigan State. The game was played on a court built on board the U.S. navy ship, the USS Carl Vinson.

Other celebrities attending the game included Brooklyn Decker, Pamela Anderson, Mario Lopez and Khloe Kardashian, among others.
