The following information was gathered from incident and arrest reports obtained from the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.

GREENBROOK
Reported Nov. 11
8:48 a.m. — 14200 block of Gnatcatcher Terrace.
Burglary. Unknown person(s) pried on two, rear, sliding-glass doors until they were able to get one of them open. The person(s) then entered the residence and pried open the victim’s hall closet near the washer and dryer. The residence is a rental property, and the victim keeps his personal property locked up in the closet. The person(s) stole two bottles of scotch from the closet, and at the time of the report, nothing else was found missing. The victim has a cleaning service, and he stated he would contact them to see when they were there last. When the victim got home he found his front door was closed but not locked and pieces of wood from the broken closet were on the floor.

GREENFIELD PLANATATION
Nov. 13
5:11 a.m. — 1400 block of Millbrook Circle.
Petit theft. The victim has partial custody of a child, who stays with her and his father. The victim noticed her bottle of mouthwash was taken. She explained to the deputy only one other person besides her has a key to the residence. There were no broken windows or pry marks on the doors or windows of the home. The victim has confronted the individual about the mouthwash, and that individual denied allegations. The victim requested a case number for her records.

LAKEWOOD RANCH
Nov. 12
5:05 a.m. — 8300 block of Lakewood Ranch Boulevard.
Information. The complainant reported a man brought his girlfriend to the hospital for unknown medical problems. The complainant advised the man he was not allowed to go back to the emergency room, because it was a restricted area. The man became irate and upset and started punching a glass partition. The complainant contacted the sheriff’s office before the situation worsened. There was no damage to hospital property.

MAGNOLIA MANOR
Nov. 2
12:01 a.m. — 1900 block of 54th Street E. 
Burglary to an unoccupied vehicle. Unknown person(s) stole the complainant’s wallet out of his unlocked vehicle, which was parked in front of his residence. The complainant’s front passenger door lock was broken. The complainant left his wallet in the middle compartment. According to the complainant, his wallet and its contents were the only things stolen, so he didn’t call the sheriff’s office right away to report it.

OTHER
Nov. 12
4:37 p.m. — 3300 block of 53rd Avenue East.
Found property. While the individual was walking into the convenience store, he found four cards in the grass between the store and the animal clinic. The deputy obtained the listed phone number and address for the person listed on the card through Sam’s Club, however, it was an expired membership number. The deputy attempted to call the person but received no answer.

6:58 p.m. — 800 block of Kay Road. Burglary to an unoccupied dwelling. The victim contacted the sheriff’s office to report an unknown person(s) entered her locked RV and took some silverware and gold earrings. There were no signs of forced entry.

Nov. 13
8 p.m. — 14500 block of State Road 64 East. No driver’s license. After the deputy observed several traffic infractions by the vehicle in front of him, he initiated a traffic stop and learned the driver did not have a license. He was arrested without incident.
